When the school day ends, our program creates space for students to move, create, collaborate, and connect in ways that feel meaningful and fun. Our mission is simple: to offer an after-school experience where students feel safe to explore who they are, build confidence through doing, and develop strong relationships with peers and caring adults. We focus on hands-on experiences that encourage curiosity, leadership, teamwork, and positive self-expression. Students rotate through engaging enrichment designed to keep them invested—from creative arts and movement to STEM exploration and leadership development. Each activity is structured yet flexible, giving students room to grow while celebrating progress along the way. Enrichment offerings vary by location and may include Creative Arts, STEM and Innovation, Digital Discovery, Sports and Team Play, Dance and Movement, Martial Arts, Photography, Mindful Movement (Yoga), Leadership and Mentorship, Life Skills, and Character & Citizenship.
Active Youth Academy’s Summer Enrichment Program turns summer into a season of exploration, movement, and connection. It’s a place where students stay engaged, try new interests, and build friendships in an environment that is structured, safe, and intentionally designed. Our mission is to offer a summer experience that balances fun with purpose. Students spend their days creating, coding, moving, building, and collaborating while developing confidence, social skills, and independence through hands-on experiences. Programming includes creative arts, robotics and coding, sports and team play, yoga, martial arts, theatre, photography, and collaborative projects. While our summer offerings reflect the foundation of our after-school program, the experience expands to include themed weeks, splash days, on-site field days, and celebrations that give summer its sense of joy. Active Youth Academy partners with schools and families to provide a summer program that feels meaningful to students and reliable to administrator, one that keeps students connected, curious, and growing all season long.

The AYA Experience is intentionally designed to support school culture while meeting the developmental and social needs of students. Programs provide a well-managed, engaging environment where students are supported after the school day, with a balance of group activities and interest-based clubs that allow students to deepen skills or explore new interests. Students consistently practice teamwork, responsibility, and positive decision-making in ways that reinforce school expectations, supported by clear routines and positive reinforcement.
